A Forward Deployed Engineer joins the client's programme, operations, security, vendor and technical teams to deliver a defined outcome. Approved requirements become working integrations, cloud services or AI-enabled workflows, with the documentation and handoff needed for support.
Cloud computing can improve service availability, give public applications room to grow, strengthen backup and recovery, support remote work and help modernise legacy systems. The right model depends on data sensitivity, sovereignty, residency, integrations, accessibility, procurement, continuity and total cost.
We identify where data is stored, processed, backed up, logged and accessed. The architecture records third-party providers, cross-border dependencies and Canadian data residency requirements. Data sovereignty becomes a documented design and governance requirement for the workload.
Responsible AI starts with an approved purpose, the minimum necessary data, named users and a clear risk level. Testing, bias mitigation, guardrails, logs, escalation and Human-in-the-Loop review are added according to the risk. We may restrict or decline higher-risk work.
Yes, when the systems provide a safe and supported connection. We may use an API (Application Programming Interface), secure file exchange, workflow automation or an approved intermediary service. Discovery confirms data ownership, interface limits, security, error handling, audit records and support responsibilities.
Yes. We use Agile delivery, Scrum, time-boxed sprints, user stories and an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) when they suit the procurement and operating environment. Architecture, documentation, accessibility, security, testing and approval gates remain part of the project.
We can provide or coordinate a Subject Matter Expert (SME) when the approved workstream calls for one and the expertise is available. The proposal names the role, scope, decision authority, deliverables, dependencies and delivery party.
We help teams turn applicable requirements into technical controls, delivery evidence and operating responsibilities. References may include PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, Ontario's AODA, other provincial accessibility laws, the Accessible Canada Act, CASL, FINTRAC anti-money laundering duties for reporting entities and cybersecurity requirements. Bill C-8 received Royal Assent in 2026 and enacted the Critical Cyber Systems Protection Act. Justice Laws currently lists its provisions as not in force. Canada's AI for All strategy is policy guidance. The client and qualified advisers decide applicability, commencement and legal conclusions.
