Accessibility

Public technology should work for everyone.

We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the development and testing target for this website and for the digital services we build where it applies.

Our commitment

Accessibility belongs in the work from the start.

Pages use semantic structure, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus, readable contrast, responsive layouts, useful link text and alternatives for informative images.

The site is designed to support zoom, reflow, reduced-motion preferences, high-contrast modes and common assistive technologies. We review accessibility as the site changes.

Current technical review: . Browser checks covered all public routes for headings, landmarks, accessible names, image alternatives, duplicate IDs, focus-order risks, target sizing and detectable colour contrast. Representative pages were checked at 320 CSS pixels for responsive reflow. Visible keyboard focus, the animated-hero pause control, and the optional analytics preference controls were also verified. Assistive-technology testing, evaluation by people with disabilities and a formal independent audit remain valuable before making a formal conformance claim.

WCAG 2.2 AA target

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA success criteria are our technical benchmark.

Keyboard operation

Navigation, calls to action, disclosure controls and links work by keyboard, with a skip link and visible focus.

Readable presentation

Text, controls, focus indicators and essential visual information use AA contrast and responsive reflow.

Ongoing review

Automated checks support manual keyboard, zoom and screen-reader review, followed by feedback from real users.

Feedback and assistance

Tell us if something creates a barrier.

Email contact@sturdyiq.ca or call 1-877-595-9620. Please identify the page, the barrier, and the assistive technology or browser involved when possible.

We will acknowledge the feedback and work toward a practical response or accessible alternative. You can also use the contact information page.

Third-party content

Google provides the embedded map on the contact page, so some of its accessibility behaviour sits outside our direct control. The full office address appears as text beside it.
